The Pan Man

In 2008 I entered the Long and Short Review’s annual contest for short stories in the YA genre’ with a HEA ending.  This was a step to the side of my typical genre'...I'm a thriller gal...and so HEA endings and the focus being on young love is not my forte'.  I was very pleased and flattered when I learned I had received an Honorary Mention in the contest, along with a couple of very complimentary reviews.
 
My sincere appreciation is extended to LASR for allowing my piece through the young romance gates.

****CATEGORY DESCRIPTION: Romance-In a romance, the main plot concerns two people falling in love and struggling to make the relationship work. The conflict in the book centers on the love story and the resolution is always a happy ending.

"That was a cool intro..love the name Pan-demonium and the way they connected..and how he drew her attention with the guitar riff…and, well, it was an exciting way to meet."

"Very, very good use of detail to paint a picture with words. I very much enjoyed this author’s voice, and would look forward to reading more of her work."
